Terms & Disclaimers
Effective date: June 15, 2026
These Terms & Disclaimers govern your access to and use of Regilon, including our website, application, screening tools, monitoring tools, evidence-packet features, document-processing workflows, dashboards, reports, communications, and related services. By creating an account, submitting a portfolio, uploading documents, purchasing a packet, activating monitoring, requesting a demo, or otherwise using Regilon, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Regilon on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
Business use only
Regilon is intended for lawful business use by commercial real estate owners, operators, asset managers, advisors, and authorized business users. Regilon is not intended for personal, household, consumer, or children’s use.
You may use Regilon only if you have authority to submit the relevant property, portfolio, company, billing, and document information.
What Regilon provides
Regilon provides property-tax data analysis, public-record matching, portfolio screening, monitoring, deadline reminders, document extraction, evidence organization, comparable-property analysis, savings estimation, and decision-support tools for commercial real estate portfolios.
Regilon is a software and data-analysis platform. Regilon is not a law firm, accounting firm, property-tax consulting firm, appraisal firm, broker, agent, fiduciary, or government filing service.
Unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise, Regilon does not file appeals, act as your tax agent, appear before appraisal districts, assessment appeals boards, appraisal review boards, county officials, courts, agencies, or other tribunals, or represent you in any legal, tax, appraisal, administrative, or governmental matter.
No legal, tax, appraisal, or professional advice
Regilon does not provide legal advice, tax advice, certified-appraisal advice, valuation opinions, accounting advice, investment advice, or professional representation.
Outputs such as savings estimates, opportunity scores, confidence labels, comparable selections, packet recommendations, assessment-impact estimates, asset-value impacts, deadline alerts, filing checklists, and evidence summaries are informational and analytical only.
You are responsible for consulting qualified attorneys, tax professionals, licensed property-tax consultants, certified appraisers, accountants, or other professionals before filing an appeal, selecting protest grounds, submitting evidence, authorizing an agent, attending a hearing, relying on a valuation position, or making financial decisions.
No attorney-client, accountant-client, appraiser-client, tax-consultant, fiduciary, agency, or professional-client relationship is created by your use of Regilon.
No guarantees
Regilon does not guarantee assessment reductions, tax savings, refunds, successful appeals, exemption eligibility, county decisions, agency acceptance, hearing outcomes, settlement outcomes, future-year savings, asset-value impacts, or return on investment.
Public records, appraisal-district data, county data, assessment data, comparable-property data, ownership records, deadlines, forms, tax rates, and third-party data may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, unavailable, or revised.
Models, estimates, document extraction, comparable selections, confidence labels, deadline logic, and recommendations may contain errors or omissions.
Screening estimates are not outcome-confirmed savings. Verified outcome savings, where shown, depend on document review, source confirmation, applicable agreement terms, and the verification standard stated in the relevant order form or written agreement.
Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- Providing accurate account, company, billing, contact, ownership, authorization, property, parcel, account-number, and portfolio information;
- Uploading only documents and data that you have the right to use and submit;
- Reviewing all Regilon outputs before relying on them;
- Confirming all account numbers, parcel numbers, iFile numbers, ownership details, notice dates, appeal deadlines, protest grounds, evidence, signatures, authorization forms, and filing methods;
- Meeting all county, state, agency, court, and procedural deadlines;
- Determining whether you need a licensed or registered professional;
- Ensuring that any filing, appeal, submission, agent authorization, hearing appearance, or professional engagement complies with applicable law;
- Maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials;
- Preserving your own copies of submitted documents, notices, evidence, filings, and decisions.
Deadline alerts, monitoring reminders, workflow statuses, and checklist items are assistive tools only. They do not replace your responsibility to verify applicable rules, notice dates, appeal periods, exemption deadlines, late-protest eligibility, filing methods, payment obligations, and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
Documents, packets, and evidence materials
Evidence packets, reports, exports, checklists, comparable summaries, evidence summaries, and other materials generated through Regilon are based on available public records, third-party data, user-provided information, uploaded documents, and internal models.
Packets may be incomplete, may contain errors, and may require human or professional review before use. A packet marked as “generated,” “reviewed,” “approved,” “ready,” “recommended,” or similar does not mean that it is legally sufficient, professionally certified, reviewer-approved for every jurisdiction, or guaranteed to produce any result.
You are responsible for final review before submitting any material to an appraisal district, assessment appeals board, appraisal review board, assessor, county office, attorney, consultant, appraiser, agent, or other third party.
Any export, handoff, advisor review, partner review, or professional referral occurs at your direction. Unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise, such handoff does not transfer filing responsibility, deadline responsibility, professional responsibility, or representation responsibility to Regilon.
Jurisdiction-specific rules
Property-tax rules, appeal procedures, filing periods, authorization requirements, evidentiary rules, valuation standards, payment obligations, and professional-registration requirements vary by jurisdiction.
Regilon may display jurisdiction-specific information for convenience, but you are responsible for confirming current rules with the applicable county, appraisal district, assessment appeals board, taxing authority, licensed professional, or legal advisor.
Regilon does not guarantee that any jurisdictional rule, deadline, form, link, checklist, or workflow is current, complete, or applicable to your property.
Accounts and acceptable use
You may not:
- Use Regilon for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, or unauthorized purposes;
- Submit information you do not have authority to use;
- Misrepresent ownership, authorization, agency status, or professional status;
- Upload malicious code, unlawful content, or infringing materials;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Regilon or its systems;
- Interfere with platform operation, security, or availability;
- Scrape, copy, resell, sublicense, or redistribute Regilon outputs except as allowed by your plan or written agreement;
- Reverse engineer, benchmark, or train competing systems using Regilon outputs without written permission;
- Use Regilon to provide regulated professional services unless you are properly authorized to do so and remain solely responsible for your compliance.
We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, abuse, security risk, suspected unauthorized use, legal risk, or violation of these Terms.
Payments, subscriptions, and packets
Fees for scans, monitoring, subscriptions, evidence packets, portfolio reviews, implementation services, and related services are shown at checkout, in your account, in an order form, or in a separate written agreement.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, fees are non-refundable once a purchased deliverable has been generated, delivered, made available, or substantially performed.
Subscriptions renew according to the billing terms shown at checkout, in your account, or in the applicable order form unless canceled before renewal. You authorize our payment processor to charge applicable fees, taxes, renewal amounts, and other amounts due.
We may change pricing, packaging, features, or availability from time to time. Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise stated in a written agreement.
Success fees
Any success fee, contingency fee, performance fee, or savings-based fee applies only if expressly agreed in a separate order form, checkout flow, or written agreement.
Regilon does not bill success fees based on screening estimates alone. Success fees, where applicable, are billable only after savings or outcomes satisfy the verification standard stated in the applicable agreement, such as document-verified, source-confirmed, or agency-confirmed savings.
Nothing in these Terms authorizes Regilon to provide regulated legal, appraisal, tax-consulting, filing, or representation services where a license, registration, authorization, or professional engagement is required.
Third-party services and data
Regilon may rely on public records, county data, appraisal-district data, government sources, third-party data providers, cloud providers, payment processors, email providers, analytics tools, document-processing tools, AI providers, contractors, and professional partners.
We are not responsible for third-party data, third-party services, government websites, county systems, payment processors, service outages, data revisions, external links, or third-party acts or omissions.
Intellectual property
Regilon and its licensors retain all rights in the platform, software, models, workflows, dashboards, templates, reports, designs, databases, source code, documentation, and underlying technology.
You retain rights in the information and documents you submit. You grant Regilon a limited right to host, process, analyze, reproduce, display, transmit, and use your submitted information as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, improve, and operate the service, as described in the Privacy Policy and applicable agreements.
You may use outputs generated for your account for your internal business purposes, subject to these Terms and any plan or order-form restrictions.
Confidentiality
If you submit non-public business information or documents, Regilon will use reasonable efforts to protect that information according to the Privacy Policy and applicable agreements.
You acknowledge that some property records, ownership records, assessment records, parcel information, and comparable-property information may be public records or may come from public or third-party sources.
Privacy
Our collection, use, retention, and sharing of information is described in our Privacy Policy
By using Regilon, you acknowledge that uploaded property documents may contain personal, business, financial, ownership, tenant, advisor, or agent information, and that Regilon may process that information to provide the service.
Beta features and availability
Some features may be labeled or function as beta, experimental, preview, early-access, or pilot features. These features may be incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, changed, limited, or discontinued at any time.
Regilon is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, data availability, or compatibility with all systems.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Regilon disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, security, and quiet enjoyment.
Regilon does not warrant that outputs will be accurate, complete, current, legally sufficient, professionally sufficient, accepted by any government office, or suitable for any particular appeal, filing, valuation, tax, accounting, investment, or business purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Regilon and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, suppliers, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, enhanced, or similar damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, lost tax benefits, lost business opportunities, business interruption, loss of goodwill, loss of data, cost of substitute services, missed deadlines, unsuccessful appeals, assessment increases, penalties, interest, or third-party claims arising from or related to your use of Regilon.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Regilon’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the fees paid by you to Regilon for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the twelve months before the event giving rise to liability. For free services, Regilon’s total liability will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
The limitations above apply regardless of the legal theory, whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, warranty, statute, or otherwise, and even if Regilon has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Regilon and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, suppliers, licensors, and service providers from and against claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to:
- Your submitted information, documents, portfolios, or evidence;
- Your filings, appeals, hearings, submissions, authorizations, or professional engagements;
- Your misuse of Regilon;
- Your violation of these Terms;
- Your violation of applicable law;
- Your infringement or misappropriation of third-party rights;
- Your failure to obtain required authority, consent, license, registration, or authorization.
This indemnity does not apply to the extent prohibited by law.

The updated version will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of Regilon after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
